Story Elements
Unit – a numbered section into which a book is divided
Theme – the central idea or belief
Concept – a subject to talk / write about
Story – a description of how something happened, mostly to entertain
Story Title – the name of the story
Concept - an idea of how something is or should be
Vocabulary – a word to learn
Character – a person or animal (perhaps a thing that comes to life)
Setting – where and when the events takes place
Main idea – the most important detail
Plot – a sequence of events (with a conflict and solution)
Conflict – something that must be solved
Solution – a way of solving or dealing with a conflict
Resolution – type / category of a literary work
